Sales & Marketing Assistant
Aim of the Role
To increase company sales by developing and executing a sales and marketing strategy.
The role will be full time working from 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am – 3.30pm on Friday.
The successful candidate will be responsible for introducing a new marketing strategy to help increase the company profile. This will include a plan to target new customers and markets and increase sales as a direct result of marketing and promotions..
They will also be responsible for maintaining all the social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn to improve our online presence.
To report back on the progress of all social media and other marketing campaigns by way of reports to the General Manager.
Part of the role will also include working with the office team to raise quotations, process orders from new and existing customers and answer customer enquiries by telephone or email.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Whilst there are no minimum education requirements for the role, an excellent standard of written and spoken English is essential for the post in order to develop good working relationships with relevant customers and suppliers.
The ideal candidate would have a qualification relating to marketing or at least 2 years previous experience of working in a sales and marketing environment.
Knowledge of social media for business use is desired and experience in editing software would be advantageous.
A keen interest in photography is also desirable (although not essential) as there will be a need to photograph products to use online and in collateral.
